It's the first of the month and that brings a whole slew of fun bits and pieces packs! Both Just For Fun Designs and Heather Z Scraps have new kits that you can grab while they are on sale. Each piece is just $1 through the 7th.

Off to College new release!

Just for Fun Designs has a new kit out! Off to College is  a fantastic jam packed kit for just about anything. It has 8 solid and 24 pattern papers as well as 53 elements, a full alpha and 50 wordbits!



I used it so far to put together a great page documenting our recent (ok it was a year ago) move.

I'm Back!

I've taken a bit of a break lately. We've welcomed our second little bundle of Joy this last April and I'm just now getting back into the full swing of life again. It was a bit of a whirlwind with Ty arriving via emergency c section due to a cord prolapse but he weighed in at a healthy 7lbs 13oz 2.5 weeks early!

Last up, there are a couple new challenges in the forum at Scraps N Pieces. Here is a quick run down of what you'll find this month. 

Ad Challenge: Get inspiration from the selected Ad and create a layout

Alpha/Font Challenge: Use this font on your layout: Niconne Font

Bits N Pieces Challenge: Designers each create packs of paper, elements, and extras all with the same pallette. Use those pieces to make a layout.

Collab Kit Challenge:
Use the On the Boardwalk Collab

Featured Designer Challenge: 
Use a product from the listed designers (1 pt per designer) on your layout. You can make up to 3 layouts to get all 3 points.

Inspired by Pinterest Challenge:
Get inspired by the pinterest board linked in the challenge post to create a layout.

Journaling Challenge:
Journal on your layout about your hobbies & interests

Leaving Love / Posting Challenge:
All you need to do for this is leave some love in the gallery. Commenting on layouts now can earn you up to 4 points!

Motto/Slogan/Quote/Lyric Challenge:
Use the provided quote on your layout.

Photography / Photo Editing Challenge:
Use the suggested effect on a photo then create a layout with it.

Project 12 Challenge:
Use at least 2 journal cards on your project life layout!

Recipe Challenge:
Create a layout with all the items listed in the recipe.

Scraplift / SMASH it Up Challenge:
Scraplift the provided layout by Pixelly this month.

Scrap the Pieces Challenge:
Collect the daily download pieces throughout the month, then create a layout with the them following month. Plus you end up with a free kit out of it!

Siggy Challenge:
This month you're scraplifting another siggy from the gallery. You pick which one to lift.

Template Challenge 2: 16th-31st
Use the provided template to create a layout.

Use It All Challenge:
Use every piece from the provided mini kit to create a layout. If you buy the discounted full kit you'll get an additional point as well.

Week 3 Challenge: Due the 18th

Find an old photo, do some selective coloring and then create a layout with it.
